The Sputnik arc lamp's innovative design exudes retro-modern style. Crafted of antique brass and featuring the quintessential mid-century modern Sputnik silhouette, this 83" tall and 39.5" deep lamp is a dramatic addition to living rooms, dining rooms, or bedrooms. The tall, slender antique brass pole is topped by a gracefully arcing stem, making this lamp an ideal choice behind or beside sofas, recliners, and love seats. Suspended from the stem is an antique brass chandelier-style fixture with nine short rods that each terminate with a 40W vintage Edison bulb (included). As the rods extend in varying directions, the lamp illuminates your entire space with warm amber light. The lamp is anchored by an 11" x 15" rectangular base with antique brass finish, while it is operated by a rotary switch located on the pole. For a polished look, the arc lamp is powered by a 5' cord covered in gold fabric. For smaller rooms and a linear silhouette, the Sputnik design is also available as a slender, 67.5" tall floor lamp.
