The Volterra Circular LED Pendant juxtaposes modern technology of LED light-guide with a soft stone used throughout history. As a sculptor, Designer Paul Marr Hilliard is attracted to natural materials. “Soft, subdued light with the translucent alabaster creates a warm glow. It’s a beautiful stone to work with.” We contrast that with an angular cut to the stone and have lit it each from both sides, creating a stunning wash of up and down light.
